Summary

Project C.U.R.E. is seeking a motivated and highly organized Communications and Marketing Volunteer to support our communications, branding, and social media efforts this summer. This role is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or a related field who is eager to contribute to a global nonprofit mission . This is a 10-20-hour/week, unpaid, hybrid volunteer opportunity with two days in the office in Denver (Monday and Wednesday) and two days remote. Fridays off. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to contribute to improved health around the world and build a strong social media and writing portfolio .

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor requests from staff for drafting social media
• Draft, schedule, and manage social media content across platforms
• Light editing of photos and videos to post on social media
• Support brand messaging and communications initiatives and campaigns
• Write compelling content that highlights Project C.U.R.E.’s work
• Contribute to developing impact stories showcasing the organization’s global programs and outcomes
• Assist with general marketing and communications projects
• Other tasks as assigned to support communications and marketing needs

Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
• Ability to adhere to deadlines
• Comfortable collaborating with volunteers and staff across departments
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, digital asset management systems, social media scheduling platforms
